Fresh Perspective presents "I am."

fresh perspectives is pleased to bring another electric evening of music and art to downtown cleveland.
“i am…” is about identity. through music, art, and community it is our hope that this event allows you the capacity to think about identity in a new way, or at the very least, in a way different than your own.

tickets will be sold at the door and are offered on a sliding scale $5-$15. give what you feel is appropriate for your budget. we will accept cash and all major credit cards. if you are interested in making a larger donation, fp is a fiscally-sponsored project which means your donations are tax-deductible.
there will be beverages and food. don't forget to say thanks with a tip! $$

Mobility Meet Up

Downtown residents are invited to meet over coffee and discuss their experiences with walk ability, bike-ability, and accessibility in our neighborhood. The discussion can cover street infrastructure, urban design, equity for different abilities, and more.
This is a casual and fun conversation. Come ready to listen to neighbors and share the air! Urban planners from public agencies will be attending to learn more about our community and our experiences.

Do you work, live, attend classes, visit the doctor, or do anything else in the area around St. Vincent Charity Medical Center or the Tri-C Metro Campus?  The area of the Campus District south of I-90 is rich with history, character, and opportunity.  Help the Campus District  decide what the priorities should be this year and for the next ten.  The first  task force meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 29th from 3pm to 4:30pm.  Location has not been determined so be sure to RSVP to receive updates!

Beijing Dance Theater makes its Ohio debut with two beautifully lush performances featuring two remarkable works. Founded in 2008, Beijing Dance Theater (BDT) is led by its choreographer Wang Yuanyuan together with visual artists Tan Shaoyuan and Hanjiang. The company collaborates with internationally renowned dramatists, musicians and designers to create dance works that excite audiences with visually dynamic sets, and imaginative choreography. Delicate, beautiful and filled with technically superb dancers, BDT’s works create a meeting point where both traditional Chinese culture influences the movement and innovation pushes the company forward through thought provoking contemporary choreography.
