Superior Arts Business Improvement District

The Campus District on December 6, 2017 - 4:03 pm in Features, Learn, Live, Play

The Campus District’s 18 months of work on creating the Superior Arts Business Improvement District is a success! With the recent legislative approval, based on a 60% majority of owners signing a petition, services will officially begin in the Spring of 2018 in the area bounded by East 18th on the west, St. Clair Avenue on the North, East 26th on the east and Payne Avenue on the south. It took over a year and a half of research, planning, and dialogue among Campus District and Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) staff and property owners in the target area to arrive at a plan that the majority of owners would step up to support. Signing the formal petition to create the new BID was a vote of confidence in the neighborhood’s future and a commitment to make the investments that will secure that future.  In 2018, the DCA Clean and Safe Ambassadors will be watching and patrolling the streets, while offering assistance on clean up. There will also be off-duty Cleveland police patrols. Read the full story in Freshwater HERE.
