Renovation Project on Superior Ave. in the Campus District Receives Historic Tax Credits!
Continuing the trend of expanding housing options in the Campus District area of downtown Cleveland, local investors plan to convert two adjacent commercial buildings into market rate housing. The two structures were built in 1914 as part of Cleveland’s garment district and will be redeveloped into 64 new market rate apartments. The $13.6 million project received $826,667 from the state in tax credits. Construction may begin in the fall with the apartments opening as early as next year.
