Progress on Former City Blue Building Renovation Plans

The former City Blue building at 1937 Prospect, which was purchased by the Woda Group of Columbus at the end of 2014 has been designated a local landmark by the City of Cleveland. The architectural firm and historic consultants Chambers, Murphy and Burge prepared the nomination to the Federal Register of Historic Places and the Company is waiting on approval. Woda Group submitted an application for the State Historic Tax Credits and was awarded approximately half of the amount needed for the project, with a promise from the state of  filling the gap. The project will create 40 market rate upscale apartments, not intended as student housing.
