While many real estate developers in downtown Cleveland have been investing in the conversion of former office buildings into apartments or hotels, Geis Cos. is bucking the trend. The developers have received a $2.3 million loan from Pittsburgh-based Dollar Bank and renovations for the 33,000 square foot building are estimated to cost over $3 million.
