CALL FOR ARTISTS: Three Projects In the Campus District Seek Artists
Attention artists in the Campus District! There are three public art projects in the neighborhood that need your creative eye and expertise.
The first, eligible to artists who live or have studio space in the Campus District and MidTown neighborhoods, is to produce artwork for public art that will be installed along the Euclid Ave. pedestrian bridge. The selected artist will earn an artist fee of $3,000. Submissions are due June 30th. More information can be found in the link below.
The second, while preference will be given to artists from the Superior Arts neighborhood, is eligible for anyone to apply. The mural will be located on the walls of 2201 Superior Avenue. The selected submission will be compensated, $1,000 stipend for design; involvement in implementation is optional but encouraged. Submissions are due June 16th. Lastly, the next iteration of our award-winning “A Bridge That Bridges” project is looking for residents and stakeholders interested in creating artwork to address race in our community. This mural will be made on the Cedar Avenue Bridge separating Downtown Cleveland and the Central neighborhood.
